In Emilia Romagna and in particular in the province of Rimini, Bellaria is one of the most famous seaside resorts in the region. In fact, Bellaria was born at the end of the nineteenth century when a rich entrepreneur decided to build a holiday village.

Today a famous tourist destination also thanks to the 7 km of beach and the shallow sea near the beach, with numerous bathing establishments. The accommodation facilities and offers of activities and entertainment are varied. There are also numerous sports centers where you can practice tennis, football and soccer but also gyms, indoor pools and cycling trails inward. The city is very nice and welcoming with the Saracen Tower erected in the 17th century by the local fishermen, the pedestrian area full of flower beds, the Park of Mulberry tree that extends around the homonymous lake and has some thematic areas such as the butterfly garden.

Among the events of the city of great interest is the “Palio dei Saraceni”. An event with numerous parades in period costumes along the main streets of the city, with combat shows and oriental music played by groups of musicians, up to the Borgata Vecchia, transformed into a small Arab country. The event ends with the “Palio del Saraceno”, a fight on a beam suspended in the air.
