Savona
The Civic Art Gallery of Savona is located in Palazzo Gavotti. The latter was built in the second half of the 16th century on pre-existing medieval structures and modified in the nineteenth century. The museum, considered among the most important in Liguria, presents a rich collection of paintings, sculptures and ceramics, among these of the Renaissance masterpieces known all over the world. Since 2010, one of the rooms of the art gallery hosts a particular collection of icons dedicated to the “Grand Mother of the Three Hands” collected by Professor Renzo Mantero.

The Historical Archaeological Museum of Savona was inaugurated in 1990 inside the Priamar Fortress. The Museum has been enriched by the research carried out by the International Institute of Ligurian Studies since the 1950s. Owned by the Municipality, the Museum is managed by the Sabazia Section of the International Institute of Ligurian Studies.
Villa Nobel

Villa Nobel is a nineteenth-century building, built with decorations from the Venetian Renaissance, in Moorish style. It is characterized by the large garden outside and the rooms used as a museum inside. Nowadays, it is owned by the province of Imperia and represents the last home of the seventeenth century Swedish scientist and writer, Alfred Nobel, known for being the inventor and creator of the Prize Nobel.
Villa Grock

Villa Grock was the accommodation of Adrien Wettach, a well-known Swiss circus, until 1959. He was so impressed by the city of Imperia that he bought the villa in 1920, which became his permanent residence until the end of his days. When Grock died the villa, with the beautiful garden, they represented the testimony of the strength and melancholy of the so-called 'King of Clowns'. Today the villa houses in its interior the Clown Museum and the park is a point of reference for tourists.

The Museum was born from the growing exhibition of the olive collections harvested by the Carli family, as founder of the oil industry 'Fratelli Carli' in 1911. In the twenties, a building was built as the seat of the 'Fratelli Carli' that today serves as the Olive Tree Museum. Inside the Museum, we can find the museum's warehouses and the specialized library dedicated to olive and olive oil.
