The Museum of Villa "Hanbury" is located within the municipality of Ventimiglia in the province of Imperia. It was established in 1867 by the Hanbury family, who cultivated a passion for botany. The museum is considered a small "Botanical Garden", which is home to 5800 species of ornamental plants.

The Museo Preistorico dei Balzi Rossi was founded in 1898 by Sir Thomas Hanbury in order to preserve the archaeological remains that was found in the caves. Today, the museum is divided into two areas. The first area welcomes visitors and the second is reserved entirely to the archaeological site.
