Churches and places of worship Parrocchiale S. Giovanni Battista The church of San Giovanni Battista is a place of Catholic worship of Cervo. The church is home to the homonymous parish of the vicariate of Diano Marina of the Diocese of Albenga-Imperia. The parish, named after St. John the Baptist, was built between the seventeenth and eighteenth century and is also known by the local name “dei Corallini”, because it was erected also thanks to the proceeds of fishing for the coral. The building is considered one of the major monuments in Baroque style on the Western Ligurian Riviera.
