Spoleto & surroundings

Spoleto is a town of art very nice to visit: the Duomo, Piazza della Libertà, a walk through the features of medieval streets...

Famous for the famous Festival dei Due Mondi (Spoleto / Charleston), held annually in early July with performances, concerts, ballet and drama, in Spoleto during the year there are many other events. Many festivals celebrate its culinary specialties, like the “fogliata”.

The strategic location offers the possibility of excursions and trips in the beautiful surrounding countryside, visits to nearby medieval towns such as Trevi, Spello, Assisi, but also to other villages are less known but extremely interesting as Campello sul Citumno, with its beautiful castles and its suggestive springs (the waters gush from cracks that were formed in the rock). A must see is also the cascade of Marmol, a remarkable spectacle. You can in fact enjoy the waters rush with three jumps of 1685 meters in total.
