The cathedral of S. Eusebio stands on an ancient early Christian basilica. In a chapel in the right nave of the cathedral are buried some illustrious exponents of the Savoy dynasty: Duke Amedeo IX who was also blessed, Charles I, Charles III, Duchess Jolanda and Vittorio Amedeo I.

It is the main square of the city, consisting of a pebble paving. At the center of the square dominates the monument to Camillo Benso, Count of Cavour; at the base of the statue are depicted two female allegorical figures representing Commerce and Agriculture, the two ministries that Cavour had directed in the Kingdom of Sardinia.

The Francesco Burgogna Museum was established in 1907, in memory of Antonio Giacomo Francesco Borgogna. The museum is located in the rooms of the Neoclassical Palazzo Ferreri, and exhibits two collections. In the first we can admire the collections of objects and paintings of the 800, by collector Andrea Borgogna. While the second holds a collection of Piedmontese Renaissance paintings.

It was built in the early fifteenth century on the ruins of a fortified perimeter. In fact, a historical document informs us that already in 1186 there was an original structure in which the Church of San Michele was also included in it. It should also be remembered that inside there are beautiful frescoes, including a wonderful “Madonna Enthroned with Child”. Now it's privately owned and it's in great condition.

The Civic Gallery of Modern Art, built in 1964, exhibits in its rooms a large collection of works of local subject. Inside it is possible to admire paintings for most Italian painters.

The Ethnographic Museum of AlagnaValsesia is located at an authentic Walser house, which re-proposes moments of the life of the Walser people. In the 13th century the settlers of Upper Valais moved for political and religious reasons to the various Alpine resorts. The structure, in which they lived, is formed by overlapping logs anointed in the corners, on three floors with functions of a stable, dwelling and barn-barn.

Museo Camillo Leone consists of two different buildings, the Alciati House erected in the fifteenth century and the Palazzo Longosco of the 18th century. The museum consists of thirteen rooms in which we can admire the archaeological collections from the Iron Age until the Risorgimento period of the Vercelli notary, Camillo Leone. In the halls there are also frescoes from the early sixteenth century with mythological scenes. Also interesting are the collections of vases that come from the Apulian necropolis.

The castle of Buronzo was built in 1039, by the members of the Buronzo family. Much of the building is Renaissance and Baroque style. For a long time the castle remained in ruins. Thanks to the funds of the European Union and the municipal initiative, however, it was restored and transformed as seen today.

The Visconti Castle was built in 1290 at the behest of Mattia Visconti in a dominant position of the city. The Castle saw various owners up to the Savoy who did various restoration works, thanks to which today the castle is in a good state of preservation and used as the headquarters of the Judicial Offices and the Vercelli Court.

The Basilica of Sant'Andrea is one of the most important and well-known monuments of the city of Vercelli. It is one of the first examples of Gothic architecture in Italy, and inside it you can admire two Baroque wooden confessionals, the Gothic tabernacle of the '200, the tomb of Abbot Tommaso Gallo, and in the newsstand a 14th century fresco.

The church of San Cristoforo was built in 1515, after the demolition of a pre-existing church dating back to the twelfth century. The exterior is composed of a Renaissance style façade, while inside you can admire numerous works by Gaudenzio Ferrari.
