Torre Campanaria

The Bell Tower was built in the eighteenth century by the architect Cocito di Neive, while the bell was designed by Domenico Pettiti. The building has a square structure and consists of five floors embellished in Baroque style. In 1544 the Castle, of which the Tower was part, was destroyed by the French troops but the only thing that was saved was precisely the latter.

Historical reports from the Fort of Ceva dating back to 1557, found in an act where beds and utensils were required for the soldiers who manned it. The fort was also a refuge for nobles such as Queen Anna of Orléans, when Turin was besieged by the French in 1706.
