In the Murgia dei Trulli near the Adriatic coast is the small town of Fasano. There are plenty of reasons to spend your holidays right here. Fasano is perfect for nature lovers and sunbathing.

On the one hand, the town offers tourists the hills covered with vineyards and dotted with characteristic fairy-tale cones of trulli and villas immersed in the green of the gardens. On the other side Fasano is located a few steps from the sea: its beach area includes the suggestive resorts of Savelletri characterized by the coastline to cliff, and Torre Canna characterized by the golden sand beach that winds for a few kilometers.

After all, the sea is not the only attraction of Torre Canne where there are the hot springs flowing into the sea. Thanks to this wealth, the town has turned into a well-kept, elegant and well-equipped spa.

Fasano will also like children: a few kilometers from the city is the Zoosafari in which you can admire more of 200 animal species in full freedom: elephants, giraffes, monkeys, lions, tigers. There are also dolphins, sea lions and penguins and the tropical room with snakes, turtles, tropical fish and other animal species.

Those who prefer a cultural visit cannot fail to see the Archaeological Park of Egnazia, a Roman city buried, sung also by Horace, located on a wide rocky headland.

A part of the ancient city is now completely submerged for the phenomenon of slothness, but you can still admire the remains of the imposing Hellenistic walls, of a piazza porticata, via Appia Traiana, some basilicas.

The historic center of Fasano is also worthy of attention. There are alleys, lime white walls, arches and squares. Of the ancient walls there is still a tower, one of the accesses to the city. In the heart of the oldest part you can admire the ancient churches and palaces.
