Visit Ostuni a town of over 30,000 inhabitants located in the province of Brindisi and nicknamed “White City” for its architecture made up of houses, churches and monuments strictly painted in white. The use of white lime from the houses of Ostuni is a custom that comes since the Middle Ages in order to give more light, both direct and reflected, to the alleys of the inhabited center.

In addition, in the 17th century this was the only solution to prevent the plague from spreading until the destruction of the town.
