La Thuile, the westernmost town in the Aosta Valley, is now one of the most famous ski resorts in the Alps. Located in the valley of La Thuile, a few kilometers from France, it allows all mountain lovers to enjoy immense spaces and breathtaking views.

The country itself does not even have 1000 inhabitants, but during the winter season, which is also rather prolonged here thanks to the good elevation of the place, it is fills with mountain enthusiasts and alpine sports in general. In summer, however, some chairlifts remain open, which gives you the opportunity to climb to do some trekking and also bring mountain bike and take a bike ride along the well-marked trails.

Clearly, both Italian and French are fluent in it. For skiers and snowboarders there are almost a hundred slopes connected also with the French side, namely the town of La Rosière, and assisted by more than 35 lifts. In addition to these, there are also a few dozen kilometers of cross-country ski trails, not to mention the numerous paths for walking and hiking around lakes and slopes .

This location is also easily reached through the road network thanks to the recent Mont Blanc freeway, which the quickly and efficiently connects to the city of Aosta, reachable from Milan and Turin via motorway.
