I was there on Easter Monday with the idea of doing something special with my father, like many, a supporter of Ferrari. Consulting the car manufacturer's website, I was struck by the definition that the editorial staff uses to describe a
visit to the Ferrari museum:
“Completely renovated and expanded, the
Ferrari Museum in Maranello anticipates what will be the museums of the future: not the dusty story of the past, but
an extraordinary experience in the Ferrari world, where historical machines and history are the premise to understand and learn about today's models, the contents and technologies of Formula 1 and the orientation towards the future. This experience is composed, as well as cars,
big screens and movies,
interactive opportunities such as discovering how the Grand Prix wall works and the
possibility to become a Formula 1 pilot on board semi-professional simulators.”
First of all, it will also be renewed and expanded but it seemed very small to me, which anticipates the concept of what the museums of the future will be, well, it seems to me really exaggerated, 4 rooms that compare to the BMW museum in Munich make you laugh. The big screens, one expects more screens and several rooms, actually the room is one and the quality is a bit low.
Not to mention the simulators, the simulator is one, placed at the entrance with constant tail. If you are in the area for a
holiday in Emilia Romagna it is definitely worth taking a look, if instead, like me, you go on a three-hour journey round and three hours back, unless Be a fierce supporters, it's not worth it.
