Situated near the town of Amelia, whose origins date back to the V century b.C., as witnessed by the polygonal walls that bound most of historic town centre. Many and important are the archeological findings of ROman and Etruscan period, kept in the civic museum, amid them stands out the bronze statue of Germanic. The surrounding landscape is characterized by large expanses of woods evergreen of holm-oaks that alternate with olive groves, vineyards and fields neatly cultivated.
