The Silvio Zavatti Polar Museum is one of the most important museums in Italy, the only museum aimed at Italian arctic research. It is placed at the Polar Geographic Institute. It was established in 1969 by Silvio Zavatti, to present the culture of the Arctic peoples. Inside it houses a large collection of Greenland Inuit sculptures and some items by the Eskimo. The Museum has been owned by the Municipality of Fermo since 1993.

The purpose of the foundation of the museum was to remember and enhance the works of the artist.

In the southern part of Moterubbiano it is possible to admire Porta S.Basso, known by the villagers as “Porta Vecchia”.
