Astronomical Observing Sites Osservatorio Astronomico di Sant'Erasmo The Observatory has an astronomical structure founded by the City Council in the 1970s. After a long closure, the center was reopened in 2006 to offer the opportunity to see closely all the constellations not visible to the naked eye. The old telescope has a diameter of 400 mm, while the one that came during the renovation is 150 mm. The property is run by a group of astronomy enthusiasts who made it possible that the public could also try this unique experience for free once a month.
