Ponte degli Alpini is located in the city of Bassano del Grappa and is made of wood. Work on the reconstruction began in 1567 and ended in 1569. In 1813, the bridge was set on fire by Eugenio of Beauharnais. During the First World War, the Italian troops of General Luigi Cadorna passed on the bridge to face the defense of the territories of the plateau of the seven municipalities, following this story it took its name Alpine Bridge.
