The Gallery of Modern Art and Resistance was established in 1974 by the Municipal Council of Empoli. From the beginning it had the function of stimulating the interest of young people and citizens in relation to the Resistance and Modern Art. It is structured in three different rooms that welcome works by Sineo Geminiani, Virgilio Carmignani and works related to the Resistance.
