Cecina, a town in the province of Livorno, Cecina is a city known since the Etuscan era and inhabited in Roman times. Even today there are still the remains in the locality of San Vincenzino, of the villa wanted by the console Albino Cecina, from which the city takes its name. City with a long tourist tradition that already since the early sixties saw a significant increase in tourism both Italian and foreign.

In the summer, in fact, the streets of the city are crowded with vacationers who appreciate the beautiful Tuscan town for its wonderful sea, for the beautiful gold-colored beach and for the beautiful pine forests that stretch for more than 15 kilometers and where the little ones can enjoy themselves safely.

Of great interest is the Civic Archaeological Museum opened in 2003 and housed in an eighteenth-century villa. Inside the museum you can admire archaeological finds dating back to the period from prehistory until the beginning of the Middle Ages.

Finally, the Roman villa built in the first century BC in the locality of San Vincenzino is wonderful. At the archaeological site of the villa you can still observe the finds found in the excavations.
