Santa Croce Camerina, heir to Syracuse colonies, is a town in south-eastern Sicily kissed by the sun. It offers an extraordinary variety of landscapes: green expanses of the fields, sandy beaches bathed by the clear waters of an always blue sea.

Many and all of great interest are the historical, archaeological and architectural testimonies scattered throughout the territory. The center of Santa Croce is rich in historic buildings and interesting monuments among which we find the Palazzo di Città, with the nearby church of Carmel, Piazza Vittorio Emanuele and the Church Mother.

Also worth visiting, outside the city, the necropolis of Mirio and the ancient building of Mezzagnone. In the hamlet of Punta Secca we can admire the Lighthouse, the ancient church, the Tower of Scalambri and the famous “Casa di Montalbano”, made famous by the television adventures of the commissioner.
