I am in the smallest of the Aeolian Islands, in the province of Messina: Panarea. The curiosity is that
the current island occupies only a small part of what existed in ancient times; part of it, in fact has been overwhelmed by a & rsquo ; volcanic eruption forming various islets.

They say that many singles girls and boys come here every summer to meet new people, and, apparently, the results are good. Panarea is a favorite destination for those who love fun and nightlife thanks to its trendy venues.

Instead, for those who want to get away from the island's nightlife to enjoy the natural beauty or to play sports, there are numerous hiking trails: from San Pietro, from Calcara and from Punta Milazzese to the top of Punta del Corvo (421 m) where you will also discover the traditions of the past.

In Panarea almost all beaches can be reached only by sea among them are worth noting: Lisca Bianca, Basiluzzo and Spinazzola. Among the most important beaches is that of Cala Junco, reachable both by sea and by land. In reality it must be said that there are only two beaches that can be reached also by land: Cala Junco and Cala degli Zimmari.
