Ski enthusiasts certainly know where Bormio is located, a tourist destination frequented every year by numerous winter sports lovers. Just a few kilometers from Bormio there is another mountain resort, less known, but nevertheless interesting, Santa Caterina Valfurva. Located at 1,738 m above sea level, in the heart of the Stelvio National Park and immersed in wonderful nature at the foot of the Ortles-Cevedale.

Surrounded by the valley, it will undoubtedly enchant skiers not only for the lifts, the slopes for all types of skis, always perfectly snowy thanks to the support of a modern snow plant, but also because of the fact, that the resort is located directly on the ski area.

In Santa Caterina Valfurva you can ski from December to April thanks to the modern snow system programmed for both tourist and competitive skiing on the “Deborah Compagnoni” slope where, since 2005, alpine skiing races of the world circuit take place. In addition, you can also practice the bottom in the 15 km of specially beaten track.
