The province of Pordenone is located in Friuli Venezia Giulia, in northern Italy. It's a really lovely place with lots of nice areas to see and learn about. This province, as well as many other Italians, also received the Gold Medal for Military Valor (17/05/1945), thanks to the sacrifices and courage of its populations in the fight against the fascist and Nazi dictatorship during World War II. The province of Pordenone is surrounded by beautiful places of beautiful nature, one of these is the small town of Polcenigo where the springs of Gorgazzo are located.

The Gorgazzo impresses with its depth and waters of a wonderful turquoise blue. It is still a mystery since it has not yet been fully explored. In Polcenigo, in addition to Gorgazzo, we recommend a visit to the Castle and the Fullini-Zaja Palace (eighteenth century) and to the Church of San Giacomo rebuilt in 1483.
