Located in Piazza Arcivescovado, it's housed in the ancient palace of the Arcivescovado di
Ravenna. It houses various works of art and artifacts from the ancient cathedral and from other important buildings which were destroyed. It's famous for hosting the famous ivory throne of Maximian, built by byzantine artists over the course of the sixth century. It's completed from the Chapel of St. Andrew, an important early christian oratory.
