Vibo Valentia, the most populous town on the famous Costa degli Gods, is a small town in the south of Calabria, a few km from the Tyrrhenian Sea. A place for its tourist and seaside attractions, it is a favorite destination even in winter for the peace and tranquility that reign there. For archaeology enthusiasts, Vibo Valentia offers real jewels, such as the ruins of Hipponion, famous for the walls and towers of the ancient city. In the historic center, the space in front of the Cathedral of San Leoluca, Corso Umberto I, was dedicated to the illustrious citizen Luigi Razza, who was Minister of Public Works during fascism. The monument consists of the statue of the character, behind a long column, and under a base with relief sculptures. Another historical monument is the one named after Michele Morelli, in the square dedicated to Edmondo Buccarelli. Morelli was a patriot, was born in Vibo Valentia and died, by hanging in 1822.

In addition to culture and history, this city offers a long culinary tradition, typical of the Calabria region, with strong and decisive flavors.
