Soverato is a lovely Calabrian town in the province of Catanzaro, part of the Gulf of Squillace , in the south area and has 8,703 souls. It is about 20 km from the regional capital, 50 km from Lamezia Terme airport and 60 km from Crotone airport. It is located along the highway 106 (E90) and is also served by the railway station and bus lines that connect it to the entire Calabrian and national territory.

Being located on a vast territory, it has three distinct areas; the first is the one on the coast, the second, called Soverato Superiore, is is located on the low hill a little apart from the previous one and in which the majority of the population is concentrated and finally the third that constitutes the Soverato Vecchia, that is, the oldest part of the city, also at the height of the second.
