Inside it is kept the panel with Ecce Homo by a local artist named Antonello Gagini and the most famous Pietà, specular and contemporary at Michelangelo's Pietà but much more realistic than 1521.

Also known as the fishermen's church, it was built by vote by the Caminiti family. On the front, in fact, an epigraph reads as follows: “Rocco Caminiti, a long-run captain, built this church to fulfill the vote he had made during a violent storm that threatened to sink the ship with the whole crew.”
