Walls, towers and gates Torre della Coscia The Tower of the Thigh or the so-called Saracen Tower. It is located in the municipality of Alassio in the province of Savona. The tower dates back to 1521. It has an almost circular plan. After the deep restorations it was completed around the 1940s. The building has special architectural and decorative elements of the time. The Tower offers a beautiful panoramic view of the sea shore of Alassio.

Walls, towers and gates Torre Adelasia Torre Adelaisa or Torre di Vegliasco was built between 1400 and 1500 near Alassio. The tower has a cylindrical structure with a poorly highlighted and low base. The original white plaster that covers it, has still remained unchanged. The tower is named after the daughter of Emperor Otto I, Adelaisa, who had married Aleramo, son of the Duke of Saxony. Escaped from the Emperor, they settled in Alaxia, who was later called Alassio.

The building has a square plan and is structured on two floors. It is located in a park in Liguria, from which we can admire the villages of Cipressa and Arma and the infinite blue of the sea.
