Torre Talao

The Talao Tower was built during 1500 and is the emblem of the city. It is a military structure, built for defensive reasons, since from its position you could control the entire coast. Its construction was commissioned by the governor of the Neapolitan Kingdom, Pedro Afan de Ribera, and is still active and open to visit.
