Walls, towers and gates Torre Cimalonga The Cimalonga Tower was erected in the '400 as part of the area's defensive system. It is a round and fortified building, which was used to oversee one of the four access points of the city. Today the tower is home to the archaeological museum, which houses numerous ancient finds that have a remarkable historical value.
Walls, towers and gates Torre Talao The Talao Tower was built during 1500 and is the emblem of the city. It is a military structure, built for defensive reasons, since from its position you could control the entire coast. Its construction was commissioned by the governor of the Neapolitan Kingdom, Pedro Afan de Ribera, and is still active and open to visit.
