Diga del Vajont

The Vajont Dam is located near the Friulian Dolomites Natural Park in the Municipality of Erto. The dam is linked to the history of the tragedy that occurred in the lake causing the deaths of so many people. In memory of these people, the Vajont Museum was built, which has been open to the public since 2007.
