Monastero della Certosa di Pavia

The Monastery of the Charterhouse of Pavia was built towards the end of 1300 by the will of the Duke of Milan. The interiors are decorated with frescoes that date from the 15th to the 18th century. Since 1968 the monastery has been inhabited by the Cistercians. The convent is open to the public and, moreover, guided tours are organized.
