Forte Interrotto
The Interrupted Fort is a fortification built in the 19th century. It was initially used by a military barracks, and then transformed into the fortification of the Asiago plateau to defend the border during the First World War against Austro-Hungary. It is a construction entirely in stone. On 22 May 1916 he was occupied by the Austro-Hungarian army and served as an observatory lighthouse on the plateau. A fascinating return to the past that takes us into a memorable era.
