Studio Guastalla Arte Moderna e Contemporanea was established in Milan in 1992. Ettore and Silvia Guastalla focus their research activities mainly on internationally acclaimed Italian artists, with whom they enjoy a direct working relationship, putting on specific exhibitions at their gallery, and promoting and marketing their past works. Apart from the careful choice of projects and works, particular attention is given to scientific aspects of archiving, as well as to the production of exhibition catalogues. Artists represented in solo shows include: Michelangelo Pistoletto, in 2013, simultaneously with the important exhibition being held at the Louvre, Emilio Isgrò, Giorgio Griffa and Piero Pizzi Cannella. Alongside their commitment to contemporary artists, Ettore and Silvia Guastalla are a point of reference in terms of market for artists of the calibre of Afro, Alberto Burri, Giuseppe Capogrossi, Lucio Fontana, Franco Gentilini, Renato Guttuso, Marino Marini, Arturo Martini, Amedeo Modigliani and Mario Sironi. In parallel, Studio Guastalla boasts important collections of graphic works by international artists, including Pablo Picasso, Marc Chagall, Georges Braque and
