IL GRILLO PARLANTE

Our hotel Il Grillo Parlante is situated on a hill about 2 km outside of Monforte d’Alba in the „colline del Barolo“, surrounded by Dolcetto, Barbera and Nebbiolo grapes from whitch they produce the world famous Barolo. Since 2014 the vineyard landscape with Barbaresco and Barolo hills are designated ‘cultural heritage of humanity’ by UNESCO. Gilbert is a cook and does serve meals only for guests of our hotel. When someone wishes dinner, we ask all the guests of the house and so all enjoy the dinner on our big wooden table or outside in summer. Regula serves the right wine from growers out of the neighbourhood. This way, many poeple have made friends and meet again at our hotel or our appartment. Volountairly we give advice, what to visit or for reservation of a wine tasting or one of the many good restaurants in the area.
