The Museum of Paper and Filigree is located inside the halls of the former Dominican convent. The site collects and exposes the materials that have seen the history of Fabriano's paper, known all over the world. A faithful reproduction of the medieval gualchiera used for the production of paper by hand is exhibited. The exhibition also shows projected video materials and live demonstrations of the production of paper by the master carters.

The museum was founded in 1984, and had several locations, which were then abandoned. It was reopened in 2006 due to the Verdicchio Festival of Montecarotto, which is held once a year. In the gallery we find a collection of Mail Art, created by artists such as Vittorio Baccelli, Walter Pennacchi, Emilio Morandi, Anna Boschi and many others. It was Professor Bugatti who collected all these wonderful works over the years and then donated them to the museum.

The Museum of Monastic Arts is characterized by its' theatrical 'exhibition path that takes place through a suggestive story of the history of the monastery. Inside there are exhibits materials and objects found in the interiors of the Monastery of Santa Maria Maddalena. We can therefore admire different pottery, bobbin lace and ornamental drawings that are linked to the fascinating history of the ancient monastery.

The Civic Art Collection is located on the main floor of the Palazzo Fossa Mancini. Here it is possible to admire stuccoes, canvases and frescoes from the eighteenth century. There are also some Roman and medieval epigraphs. Of great importance is a fresco by the painter Andrea da Jesi from the fifteenth century. A municipal wine shop has also been attached to the museum where you can taste the typical wines of the area.

The Municipal Art Gallery is located inside the rooms of the Palazzo dei Conventuali. In the museum you can admire different sacred objects that come from the churches of the Anconetano. There are also canvas paintings, such as those of the great painter of the Roman school Andrea Sacchi. Among the works, the oldest one is the image of a Madonna with Child built in polychrome terracotta.

The Collection of Sant'Urbano is located within the homonymous Church, a structure of the eleventh century. It presents a collection of works of art of a religious nature, dating from the '500 onwards: paintings, vestments, furnishings and numerous other documents of great historical and cultural importance. They are mainly from gifts from Giacomo Baldini and other characters from the city who owned this type of materials. The exhibition is open to the public.

Inside there is a large collection of historical testimonies from different periods: Paleolithic, Neolithic and dating back to the Bronze Age.
