The thermal baths of Riolo

Riolo is a small town located on the hill of Ravenna, immersed in the nature of the valley of the Senio River and characterized by numerous springs beneficial.

Already in ancient times, from the Romans to the Middle Ages, the therapeutic properties of its sulphurous waters were known and appreciated and that is why < b>in 1870 a real spa complex was inaugurated, able to combine the effectiveness of treatments with the pleasure of therapies.

Since then, more and more advanced and innovative techniques have been introduced at the Terme di Riolo, having the properties of water as their centerpiece. minerals and clay like the one that flows from small basins among the woods called “volcanetti”.

The sources, according to the specific properties, are extremely useful for the treatment or prevention of various ailments.
For example, sulphurous mineral water is suitable for respiratory problems, skin, urogenital system and joint diseases.
Salsoiodic water helps the genital and vascular apparatus and for osteo-articular disorders.
The salsobromoiodic waters instead cure the digestive system and the problems associated with it.

Also inside the spa complex is the Thermarium, a wellness area where you can relax using the Finnish sauna, Turkish bath and emotional showers.

There is also the Thermal Pool, structured so that anyone can enjoy it thanks to different diving heights, massage jets specific to the cervical area, without chlorine not to alter its natural properties and with a pleasant temperature of 34 degrees.

The Vascular Path instead consists of two tanks at differentiated temperatures of 34 and 25 degrees. The transition from the hottest to the cold one generates an invigorating and relaxing action that can be useful to anyone. Walking inside them brings great benefits to circulation, for example, and reduces the imperfections of cellulite and water retention.

The Fitness Room is ideal for those who love sports and exercise. Bright and spacious, it features all the equipment of a modern gym and offers the possibility of having a personal trainer who recommends specific exercises for improving their physique.

Opening hours and costs Terme di Riolo

Terme Terme di Riolo are open morning and afternoon and with hours continued on public holidays. Some treatments have agreements with the Health Service.

A daily entrance to the wellness center costs 39€ and for the afternoon stay only 30€. Use only the thermal pool has a cost of 25€ or for the afternoon entrance 18€.

By car you arrive from the A14 motorway and then follow the signs for Riolo. By train you use the Bologna - Ancona railway line. With the plane you only need to land at the airport of Forlì, Rimini or Bologna and by sea we start from the ports of Ravenna, Cesenatico or Rimini.
