The sea of Alassio is certainly not the Red Sea with its coral reefs, but its blue sea hides real treasures that you can admire if you take fins and mask with you. Colourful fish and fish of various types, molluscs and ancient ships — all this is hidden beneath the surface. The shallow seabed is covered by sand, grey-white and fine like flour, as well as the beaches of Alassio, which extend for a few kilometers to another seaside village, Laigueglia.

With sand and sea it contrasts the dark green of the Mediterranean scrub that you can touch closely if you decide to follow the numerous hiking trails.
