Our days always started with skiing, the ski slopes extend for more than 160 km between country and downhill, and the morning is the perfect time to start!
The sun rises early in fact, to illuminate the white Alps. A guided tour on horseback in snowy woods, or just strolling in the pedestrian area are a good alternative for non-skiers.
Original snow sculptures, the work of Italian and foreign artists, adorn the village during the winter months during the show Art on Ice. Don’t miss it!
After a long morning of skiing it’s time for après-ski and shopping. We warmed up with a good hot chocolate in one of many typical pubs and then we continued with a peaceful stroll in the pedestrian center of Livigno, where various shops peep with their inviting windows. In the pre-Christmas period the traditional Christmas market is set up, and here we have found many small original gifts.
The night falls early after a lot of movement, but couldn’t help thinking of a nice plate of pizzoccheri in the warmth! We opted for an typical dinner of Valtellina, in the name of the local traditional cuisine, enjoying the flavors of this land, such as dried beef, polenta, pizzoccheri, the cheese-making and countless other delights. The alternative for the following evening was the very original, wonderful skiing in the moonlight, with a dinner at a shelter in the mountains: truly unforgettable! And for those who have never tired, the nights of Livigno never end!
Pubs, disco bars, apres ski, night clubs, wine bars and more are waiting to entertain you in a vibrant and international atmosphere.
