Varese - Churches and places of worship Basilica di San Vittore The collegiate basilica of San Vittore is dedicated to San Vittore and was built between the 16th and 17th centuries on a fourteenth-century structure. It has a baroque bell tower, and a neoclassical façade by Leopoldo Pollack.

Churches and places of worship La Cappella di San Gemolo strada statale - Valganna It was built in the fourteenth century, during construction a spring opened that housed bright red stones. From this came the rumor that was the broken head of the martyr San Gemolo to color the waters red. The chapel is located about two km from the Abbey. For centuries it was a place of pilgrimage on the part of the inhabitants of the valley.
