Churches and places of worship Albenga

Built in the fifth century, but often modified in the following centuries. The last century renovation has discovered the oldest parts of the building. The tower bell dates back to the '400 with a beautiful white and green majolica-tiled spire.

Next to the medieval cathedral dating back to the '200, the church was enlarged and rebuilt at least four times. Inside beautiful works of art like a fresco of the Madonna and Child.

Early Christian baptistery of the fifth century, decagonal outside and octagonal inside with a beautiful mosaic and the remains of the original baptismal font.
