Churches and places of worship Battistero degli Ariani The Aryan Baptistery was built at the time of the Ostrogothic king Theodoric, in the first half of the 6th century. In 1996, it was included in the list of Italian World Heritage Sites by UNESCO. It has a bare interior, with exposed masonry without furnishings, and a dome completely decorated with mosaic.
