The Museum of Flora, Fauna and Mineralogy of the municipality of Auronzo Cadore, is one of the most important museums in the area. It was founded to collect and present to the public the history of the earth and a vast collection of the natural sciences in the area and beyond. The museum is located in 14 rooms, it preserves a large collection of fossils, rocks, minerals and deer families. The Museum holds 149 minerals, 88 fossils, 239 animals. The museum is open to the public and really deserves to be visited.
