This city, founded by the Etruscans, as the archaeological finds found under Piazza Duomo reveal us, is full of monuments in Renaissance and Romanesque style, among which the Cathedral of San Zeno, built in the Middle Ages, which houses the altar of San Jacopo, patron saint of the city.
