That the apple is the queen of the Val di Non is now a known fact! There are over 5,000 farming families in Val di Non carefully cultivating the land and gather in camps in the fall to share the great festival of the harvest of apples.

The Val di Non in Trentino offers the visitor a truly unique spectacle: vast  green fields, but also rocky gorges and canyons. Wide horizons with crystalline lakes set among breathtaking landscapes and unspoilt nature for walking, mountain biking or horseback. Those are traditions that allow the products of the Valle di Non to win for quality and excellence, as the history of the apple, grown from a few hundred years ago and today farming families has become the symbol of what is known worldwide as the valley of apples, thanks to the excellence of a product, awarded with the DOP recognition.
There are several varieties produced: the most famous is the Red Delicious apple, from the fairy tale of Snow White, delicious in its sweet and aromatic pulp.

The Association of  the Road and Food and of the Apples of Val di Non  is also active in offering the public "tasty" tours, which enhance the beauty of these places. Itineraries where the apple, of course, is the star. Primarily, the undisputed queen of the table.
