This picturesque town is located in northern Sardinia, on a hill, where you can't get by car at all!

I went with a group of tourists on the bus to Castelsardo. Even from the port of Porto Torres we had a very nice trip, partly along the sea, but the city exceeded our expectations.

We climbed a piece up the hill, where we should get off the bus quickly and walk because the road was suddenly over! Behind the doors of the historic center everything is composed only of stairways and very, very narrow streets. It was very impressive, you couldn't imagine what you can do if you want to move! Small streets, small houses with very small doors...

We went among the many souvenir shops to the Cathedral of Sant'Antonio Abate, which unfortunately was in the process of restoration, but from the terrace we had an unforgettable view of the sea. From there a small staircase leads directly to the sea to our parking lot.
Outside the city, we still stopped at the famous Elephant Rock.
