The Manta Castle dates back to the twelfth century. At the beginning of the fifteenth century the castle was transformed into a stately home. In the 18th century the building was abandoned. The Castiglia was built between 1270 and 1286 at the behest of the Marquis Thomas I. The name probably derives from the complex of fortified buildings placed in the area since 1120. After several centuries of degradation the structure appears now to be currently in a state of restoration.

The Palace dates back to the '600, on commission of the Marquis of Cavallerleone. This is also the reason why it was so called.

The building was built by the Jewish community in Cuneo in 1611. In 1884 it underwent a total renovation both inside and outside. In memory of the old synagogue there are two tombstones that recall two events.
