Located in the southern part of the Piedmont region, the beautiful city of Mondovì is perhaps not included in the usual tourist itineraries, but still an enchanting place that is definitely worth visiting thanks to the beauty of its architecture and the wonderful views that can be admired.

This consists of two main areas, the Brio district, located at the bottom along the Ellero stream, while the ward Place on a hill from which scenarios of unimaginable beauty open.

I take the train from Milan's central station and arrive at Mondovì station.
I walk from the station to the cable car that will take me to the upper town, the Piazza district.
The route that divides the 150 meters in altitude is short, lasts only 3 minutes. The square district takes its breath away.

In the Piazza district, I head towards the central square, Piazza Maggiore where I am enchanted not only by the beauty of its palaces and its architectures but also from the very composition of the square.

Narrow and small square in a triangular shape has several very steep climbs that branch out from it.
I walk through its steep streets and reach the beautiful lookout on the city where there is still the tower of the city built in 1300. The viewpoint, the city and its atmospheres, leave me an indelible memory of a timeless place, wonderful in its beauty.
