The Castle of Roccolo dates back to the period between 1846 and 1850. Over the years, the castle has hosted several important characters. Outside there is a large park of 500,000 square meters, which is known as the romantic garden. Of great interest, are also the wonderful frescoes of the chapel.

The origins of this building are unknown. In the sixteenth. Century housed the order "Augustine." In the eighteenth. Century, during the independence war, it has been seriously damaged.

The villa was built between XIV. and XV. Century as a watchtower. Now a museum, where works of art come from the private collections of families of Mocchia di San Michele and Oldofredi Tadini.

The building was built in 1314 by Filippo d'Acaja, on an already existing structure, but known by another name. It was later restructured and expanded. In the second half of the twentieth century, it was recovered and is still used today as the Civic Library and State Archives.

Built in the first half of the fourteenth century, the Castle of the Princes of Acaia passes from a fortified dwelling to a rich palace, from feared prison to barracks. Until it becomes today's City Library: a real 'Castle of Books'.

The imposing neoclassical facade of the Cathedral of Fossano hides inside the baroque taste of the eighteenth-century architect Quarini. It is dedicated to the patron saint of Fossano, San Giovenale.

The Diocesan Museum is set up on the ground floor of the former Seminary of the Episcopal Curia. Inside are exhibited works of sacred art belonging to the Parishes and Religious Bodies of Fossano. The Museum is open to the public every Sunday.

Dominant on Piazza Manfredi, the bell tower of the Duomo was built between 1389 and 1420; with its 54.80 meters it is the only architectural structure left of the medieval complex of the collegiate church of S. Maria and S. Juvenal.

Admirable example of Piedmontese Baroque, the church of the Holy Trinity was built in 1730 by architect Francesco Gallo Piedmont.

The Gesso e Stura River Park (www.parcofluvialegessostura.it) is a protected area of the Piedmont Region founded in 2007 with the aim of protecting and enhancing the territory of the Stura River and the Gesso stream. Consisting of 10 municipalities, an area of about 4,500 ha, 60 km of river and 80 km of trails, it offers multiple opportunities for use.

The Civic Museum of Cuneo is located at Palazzo Audiffredi. Today it is located in the Monumental Complex of San Francesco. Inside, it houses a large collection of archaeological objects and works dating back to prehistory, collecting much of the history of the past. The museum is open to the public and also houses a rich library concerning cultural heritage. Admission to the art gallery is free of charge.

The tower is of fourteenth-century origins, and was the seat of the municipal residence of Cuneo until the 18th century. The current appearance of the tower is the result of a series of restorations, since it was severely damaged during the war or by the elements. It is easily distinguishable from the ancient fresco on the facade. From its height it offers a very special view of the area.

The Palace dates back to the '600, on commission of the Marquis of Cavallerleone. It is probably the oldest building in the city, well notable by its architecture (arabesque decorations, stone capitals, etc.), although, in the 19th century, it was restored by Amedeo Barberi's wife by Branzola. This is also the reason why it was so called.

The building was built by the Jewish community in Cuneo in 1611. In 1884 it underwent a total renovation both inside and outside. In memory of the old synagogue there are two tombstones that recall two events. The first recalls the construction in 1611, while the second recalls the moment when the Napoleonic troops attacked the synagogue with a cannon shot and the blow did not cause any damage to the many people present.

The cathedral of Santa Maria del Bosco is very ancient and over the centuries underwent numerous restorations. Today's facade has a portico four Corinthian columns, and a typically neoclassical gable.

It's the city's main square. After the destruction of the old wall,its original space has been doubled. Today it is surrounded by neo-classical buildings. In the center of the square you can see the statue of Barbaruox.

The Railway Museum is located at the train station of Cuneo. In the Royal Hall, the family waiting room, you can see photos and vintage newspapers, you can look at the boards with the different types of caps used by railway workers, the series of tickets, licenses and travel cards. Outside, you can admire an old car from 1943, containing documents relating to the railway line. The Calvano knight is the owner of the Museum and deals, at his own expense, with any restorations.

The Civic Tower, also known as the Town Hall Tower, is part of the Palazzo Margherita in the city of L'Aquila. Part was badly damaged by the strong 2009 earthquake, but today the damage has been repaired.

The Manta Castle is a medieval manor built in the twelfth century. In the whole there are numerous rooms with beautiful frescoes and paintings symbol of pictorial cycles of the past. The castle church is attached to the castle.

The Castiglia was built between 1270 and 1286 at the behest of the Marquis Thomas I. The name probably derives from the complex of fortified buildings placed in the area since 1120. Changed its function during the fifteenth century when becames noble residence of the Marquis Ludovico II. After several centuries of degradation the structure appears now to be currently in a state of restoration.

Mullioned windows and terracotta friezes decorate the facade of the ancient municipality erected in 1462. The palace is enriched by the elegant Civic Tower, dating back to 1464, a figurative symbol of the city and an exceptional viewpoint on the city and the Alpine arch.

The Cathedral of Saluzzo is also known as the Church of the Virgin Mary of the Assunta, and is the main church of the town. It was built between 1491 and 1501, and has a facade, made of exposed brick and plaster, marked by three entrance portals.

The crenellated bridge was built in 1428 with unequal arches. It is also called Devil's Bridge because legend wants men to ask for help from the devil to build a bridge that resisted the weather.

The Morra Castle is surrounded by a beautiful park. It is a very ancient construction that dates back to 1490. It was built at the behest of Ludwig II. Over the centuries it was modified, compared to the initial construction. It is currently in excellent condition and is used as a hunting suit.

The Abbey of Santa Maria di Staffarda is one of the great medieval monuments of Piedmont; preserved largely in its integrity at the moment of maximum expansion, it is located in Staffarda di Revello, in the province of Cuneo.
