The smallest region in Italy after Valle d'Aosta, Molise is for more than half of its mountainous territory and for this reason, a region with beautiful and lush nature.

I had the opportunity to visit the city of Termoli on a wonderful and warm summer day.
Famous seaside resort in the Molise region, in summer it is crowded with tourists from all over Italy and Europe. The clear sea, which is extremely wonderful here, offers a thousand shades of colors to the sight, but this in addition to being an enchanting seaside resort, is also a magical place from medieval atmospheres that seem to come out directly from a painting.

Of particular interest to me, were the Romanesque cathedral with preserved the bodies of the patron saints of the city, San Basso and San Timothy and the absolute symbol of the city amp; agrave; of Termoli, the Swabian Castle built in the Norman era is a timeless icon.

In the central avenue of the city, there are numerous restaurants of great charm where I savored excellent dishes based on fish from the daily catch.

It was a pleasant stay in a quiet and enchanting place with wonderful nature and ancient history.
