The Palazzo della Loggia, or more simply the Loggia, is a Renaissance palace located in the homonymous square, now the seat of the municipal council of Brescia. The Oldofredi Castle was built in 1009. It was often the subject of dispute during the war between Guelphs and Ghibellines. After a profound restoration, carried out in the 19th century, the castle was completed modified losing its original appearance. Only the two corner towers are left of the ancient castle.
