Built in 1382 by Gian Galeazzo Visconti, the Visconti castle was built in Renaissance style and more than a medieval fortress, it looked like a summer residence. During the 15th century until 1635 the castle played a primary role in the political life of the Duchy of Milan. In 1865 the castle was donated to citizenship and was used as a venue for various associations in the territory. In 1995, after having completely restored it, the “Romeo Brambilla” civic library was inaugurated. The interior frescoes originate from different eras.

The Vanzago Oasis has an area of about 200 hectares. The area is managed by the WWF which deals with the preservation of the woods but also animals. In fact, they built a hospital that deals with the injured animals that after being treated are brought back to their habitat.

The Educational Museum is located in the Abbey Monastery, which is currently under renovation. It can be visited both by school groups and tourists. In addition, among the services offered by the museum, it is possible to participate actively in events that organize both the church and the museum. The structure collects liturgical objects that have been found in the area and that are of particular importance.

The Castle of Legnano was better known as the Castle of San Giorgio until the 13th century. The church of San Giorgio was also attached to the building. It has been used for various uses, ultimately that of a farm. In 2005 it was renovated and opened to the public, and since 2007 it became part of the project “Sale Legnano”.

The Guido Sutermeister Civic Museum collects the materials found by the engineer Guido Sutermeister during the years 1925 and 1964. These findings demonstrate the existence of a local civilization since the Bronze Age. The Museum consists of five rooms where the materials are exhibited.

The Teatro and Congress Center or rather Teatro Cantoni was home, during the twentieth century, of the homonymous Legnanese cotton mill and is currently the venue of seminars on Art and Theatre. It also hosted the various essays of the Teatro Junior School of Legnano.

Cascina Monastero is located west of the city and is an ancient monastery adapted and used as a rural dwelling. Until the 1950s the peasants took care of and cultivated the fields, and in 1960 it was purchased by the City Council. After the renovation, it became the seat of the Council in the area. Noteworthy is the frescoes room that is often used for exhibitions, art competitions and presentations organized by the municipality.

The Museum was established in 1976, for all fans of the famous Milanese brand. This is a large exhibition with more than 100 cars of all types, and about forty models of automotive and aviation engines. Inside we find a great audiovisual documentation on the evolution of machines, which are displayed chronologically with detailed descriptions.

The oasis is a wooded area with an area of ??about 7 hectares where near the river Nirone. It is managed only by volunteers.

This monument is a monastery and is located on the outskirts of Milan. It was founded in 1349, by the bishop and lord of the city and had the honor of hosting, for a short time, the famous writer Francesco Petrarca. The facade is decorated with modules mixed between the Renaissance and Baroque style, consisting of many statues, obelisks, friezes and flames. In addition, inside, the ceiling is decorated with an octagonal tiburio, while the church has a single nave with barrel vault and geometric stuccoes.
